Just annoy everyone

So, a number of people drink too much, get stupidly drunk and then attack the police and hospital staff and cost the NHS lots of money every year.  I know, let’s tax the ass off the average Joe that can handle their drink and just wants a pint of an evening to unwind.

Stupid.  The people that really want to drink will just find the money from elsewhere and the rest of us will have to do something else meaning more pubs will close and micro-breweries across the country that rely on the casual drinker will go bust.  Well Done.

Here’s an idea, why not prosecute people for being drunk and disorderly and fine them.  Why not fine pubs/clubs that have deliberately got people into that state by continuing to server them when they are obviously wasted.

Why not stop companies promoting drinks to younger drinkers by making “pop” alcoholic, it worked with Hooch, it needs to go further.

Finally, shut down shops that serve to kids, no warnings, no fines, close them down or take their alcohol licence away.
